Technical Lead, SaaS
Location: Chicago, San Francisco (USA) or Cologne (Germany)

cleverbridge is looking for a skilled technical lead to define and implement our expanding e-commerce solutions for SaaS & Cloud companies. This is a high profile role within the company and the successful candidate must bring a strong combination of technical acumen and leadership skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Requirement engineering: collect, analyze, validate and document requirements. Examples:
- evaluate existing company APIs and provide detailed feedback to expand functionality and facilitate use of company APIs
- assess and document the evolving technical and business requirements of clients, prospects and potential partners
- conduct detailed market analysis
- Design new APIs according to industry standards and best practices
- Manage projects to create best practices sample code showing usages of newly created APIs using standard development frameworks
- Interface with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales and other functions as needed
Desired Skills & Experience
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or comparable education
- 4+ years development experience with APIs
- Expert knowledge in design and working with SOAP and REST based APIs
- Experience with at least two of following Web development frameworks: Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, ASP.NET
- Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership on product direction and technical implementation.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (25% travel)
- English language fluency. Fluency in German or Japanese is a plus.
- E-commerce experience is a plus, particularly with respect to recurring billing
- Knowledge of accounting and finance, or enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) is also a plus
