Senior Business Analyst, SaaS
Location: Chicago, San Francisco (USA) or Cologne (Germany)
Do you love technology, especially software and other digital products? cleverbridge is looking for a highly analytical Senior Business Analyst to help define and implement our expanding SaaS ecommerce solutions for Cloud services providers and other digital products companies with recurring billing models. The successful candidate will gain exposure to many well-known software companies, and must bring a strong combination of analytical, problem solving, communication and implementation skills. Senior Business Analyst, SaaS, is a member of the SaaS Solutions team and will work with a broad range of internal and external constituents. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of tech industry experience, and a demonstrated ability to work independently.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess and document the evolving technical and business requirements of clients, prospects and potential partners
- Conduct detailed market analysis
- Manage multiple products’ project plans, ensuring the product meets business needs and expectations within the designated time frame
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to help drive the successful development, promotion, sales and use of SaaS Solutions
- Contribute to creation of sales and marketing materials
- Define and optimize e-commerce best practices for SaaS
- Serve as a subject matter expert for SaaS-related aspects of client and prospect engagements
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years tech industry or other applicable experience with exposure to product and software development cycles and engineering teams
- 2+ years of product planning or project management specific experience, ideally focused on online products, ecommerce and payments related projects
- Data driven with strong analytical and collaboration skills to bring the organization to consensus on decisions on both short and long-term product plans
- Strong product management, organizational and implementation skills, including the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- The ability to think differently, challenge conventional wisdom, and drive new best practices
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%)
- English language fluency. Fluency in German or Japanese is a plus.
- E-commerce experience is a plus, particularly with recurring billing models
- Product management, consulting or project implementation experience is a plus
- Knowledge of accounting and finance, or enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) is also a plus
